Lina Molinas Comet
About

Hi, I'm Lina.

I'm a Research Associate at the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Department at Fraunhofer FIT, and a highly organized, results-oriented person with an eye for detail and clear communication.

My current work centers on Data Spaces — specifically, how to achieve semantic interoperability between participants who don't share a common schema. Alongside that, I still work hands-on in ontology development, including quality assurance with SHACL, validating models against real-life data rather than treating them as purely theoretical. My projects span Mobility, Industry 4.0, Agriculture, and Culture, and I've contributed to the IDS Information Model and mobilityDCAT-AP specifications.

My main interest is building semantically interoperable environments on the Web — using Semantic Web technologies to help industries share and understand data more efficiently. My varied background in Computer Science gives me a broad view and helps me deliver quality results.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and in nature. I love music, practice yoga and I'm drawn to spirituality, psychology, and neuroscience. I also enjoy cooking creatively and photography. I read and write often, and I'm always working on constant improvement, both personally and professionally.
